It is an exciting and unique experience to watch tigers and rhinos in Chitwan National Park, natural habitats of rare and endangered mammals, birds and reptiles. Chitwan National Park lies in the southern and central part of Terai region. It is the home of more than 60 species of mammals, 55 species of reptiles, over 570 species of birds and nearly 300 species of butterflies.  Mammals seen in Chitwan National Park include Bengal Tiger (Pathera tigris tigris), Greater One-horned Rhino (Rhinoceros unicornis), Sloth Bear (Melursus ursinus), Common Leopard (Panthera pardus), Gaur Bison (Bos gaurus), 4 types of deer and 2 kinds of monkeys. It is also the home to 31 species of Globally Threatened species of birds and Gharial Crocodile (Gavialis gangeticus), the largest fresh-water fish-eating crocodile in the world.

Tiger and Rhino Watching tour focuses on exploring elusive Bengal Tigers, Greater One-horned Rhino, Common Leopards and Sloth Bear in their natural habitats. While searching for rare mammals, some common mammals and birds are also seen.

The holiday begins with a short flight to Bharatpur and drive to Jagatpur, the gateway to Chitwan National Park. We will do open jeep safari and guided jungle walk to explore flora and fauna of the park.
