Annapurna Basecamp Trek

The Annapurna region is considered the best trekking destination for mountain scenery and cultural diversity in Nepal. Most of the areas of the Annapurna region fall in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Annapurna region offers several classic treks Including the Annapurna Basecamp trek, ranging from easy to strenuous, physically challenging, and lasting from a few days to a few weeks.

Annapurna Basecamp trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. Serenity, natural beauty, magnificent mountain scenery, and cultural diversity are some of the major attractions of the trek. Although the starting elevation of the trek is just less than 1,100m, the highest elevation reaches up to 4,130m. The trek offers ample opportunity to experience true Nepalese culture and warm hospitality. Panoramic views of high mountains seen from Poon Hill are seen nowhere else in Nepal.

Visit Kailash representative welcomes you with flower garland and drinking water in Kathmandu airport then immediate transfer to the hotel. He / She will deliver a short briefing on immediate and further arrangements. Check in to the hotel, yatra briefing.
Day 2
Explore World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu

Day 3
Fly to Pokhara-drive to Nayapul-trek to Uleri

After Breakfast in the hotel we ll fly to Pokhara and drive to Tikhedhunga, and start our first day trek to Ulleri.
Day 4
Trek to Ghorepani

Trek to Ghorepani, passing through beautiful rhododendron forests. Overnight in Ghorepani, anticipating the early morning hike to Poonhill.
Day 5
Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) and trek to Tadapani

Day 6
Trek to Chhhomrong

Continue to Chhomrong, the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Overnight in Chhomrong with views of the towering peaks.
Day 7
Trek to Himalaya

You will be trekking today with a steep drop to the Chommrong Khola. You will cross a suspension bridge that is 1900m above sea level. After this is a gradual uphill unto a village called Sinewa. The trail then passes through deep and dense Bamboo, Rhododendron, and Oak trees. You have to ascend unto a village called Kuldi, which is at 2470 meters and then descend through the stone staircase into the Bamboo village. This descent is slippery and therefore scary. You will cross the village of Dovan and then reach Himalaya and spend the night there. This place is at an altitude of about 2300m. The average distance you have to travel to reach Himalaya is about 10km and need to walk for about 6 hours.
Day 8
Annapurna Basecamp

At the beginning of the hike, you will walk uphill through the thick forest towards Hinko Cave. From Hiko cave, you will advance towards an avalanche-prone trail and reach to Annapurna Base Camp. This is at an altitude of 3700m and will stay here for the night. You will have to walk for about 13km and will need about 7 hours to do so. This place is also called Annapurna Sanctuary. You can enjoy the view of magnificent mountains like Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hinuchuli, Machhapuchre, etc.
Day 9
Trek to Bamboo

On the ninth day of the trek, you will start descending from the base camp towards Bamboo. You will follow a route through the Modi Khola and thick forests of rhododendron and reach Bamboo. You will have to walk about 16km and will require about 7 hours. We start the day by descending to Machhapuchhre Base Camp through the moraine route. Enjoying the view of the snowy peaks, we follow the trails of Modi Khola through the forest of rhododendron and fir and climb down past Deurali and Himalaya to finally reach Bamboo. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 10
Trek to Jhinu Danda

Trek to Jhinu Danda to experience the natural hot springs. This is a great way to relax your muscles after the long trek.
Day 11
Drive to Pokhara

Pokhara
Today is the last day of our Annapurna Base Camp trek. After crossing Jhinu Bridge there is a jeep Station for Pokhara, we will take a jeep to Pokhara.

Fly back to Kathmandu

Departure
Visit Kailash Treks will arrange the Vehicle for airport transfer. Namaskar and See you in the Himalayas again.
