The walk passes through typical mountain villages home to Brahman, Kshetri, Gurung, Manangi, Thakali and Magar people of Nepal offering views of towering Himalayan peaks. The trek also offers opportunity for side trips and excursions to explore places like Ice Lake, Gangapurna Lake, Dhumba Lake, Muktinath temple and Kagbeni village.
