Bardia Jungle Safari Tour

Bardia National Park is one of the largest national parks in the lowlands (Terai). It is located in the far western and southern parts of Nepal. It was established as one of the hunting reserves of Nepal and it received its status as a Bardia National Park in 1988. It covers an area of 968 km2.

Bardia National Park is famous for the Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, Swamp deer, Ganges River Dolphin, Smooth-coated Otter, and Blackbuck. It also has more than 513 species of birds including Globally Threatened Bengal Florican, Great Slaty Woodpecker, Great Hornbill, and Black-bellied Tern. Fly to Nepalgunj Airport and transfer to the resort

One of our staff will transfer to the domestic section of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your flight to Nepalgunj. Your nature guide will be received at the Nepalgunj airport and arrange an immediate transfer to the resort. A short guided nature walk will be arranged after lunch. Overnight in a resort on a full-board basis.

Full jeep safari combined with a guided jungle walk

The best way to explore Bardia National Park and its mammals and birds is a full-day jeep safari combined with a guided jungle walk deep inside the park. After having breakfast early in the morning, you will set off for a full-day jeep safari with a packed lunch. You will wait and watch mammals and birds from the animal observatory towers. You will also enjoy a picnic in the deep inside the jungle. There is every chance of seeing the Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, 5 species of deer, 2 types of monkeys, and many birds. Overnight in a resort on a full-board basis.
