Chitwan National Park is located in the southern and central part of Terai. It was gazette as the first national park of Nepal in 1973.

Chitwan National Park is one of the finest national parks in Asia for wildlife adventure Jungle safari. It is home to 69 species of mammals including Bengal Tigers, Greater One-horned Rhino, Asian Elephants, Gaur Bison, Common Leopards, Sloth Bears, 4 species of deer, and 2 types of monkeys. It is also a safe refuge for more than 500 species of birds, endangered species of reptiles, and rare species of butterflies.

Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival, Visit Kailash Treks, Nepal representative will receive you and take you to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, a short meeting will be arranged. If you would like to do something special while in Kathmandu, please let us know and we can help you arrange it. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:

Fly to Bharatpur Airport and transfer to the resort

One of our staffs will drop you at the domestic section of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Your nature guide will receive at the Bharatpur airport and arrange immediate transfer to the resort. A short guided nature walk will be arranged after lunch. There will be Tharu Culture Show after dinner. Overnight in a resort on full board basis.

Day 3:

Dugout canoe trip and guided jungle walk

You will start your day with a special breakfast at the resort. After breakfast, your nature guide will take for a dugout canoe trip which will be combined with guided jungle walk. The trip duration will be approximately for 3-4 hours. After lunch, you will be taken for a half-day jungle safari inside the Chitwan National Park. The jeep safari takes through grasslands, riverine forests and sal forests offering ample opportunity to see rare and endangered species of mammals, birds and reptiles. You will also explore some of important ox-bow lakes of the park. Overnight in a resort on the full board basis.

Day 4:

Birdwatching and transfer to the Bharatpur airport

You will be taken out for a short birdwatching tour after tea and before breakfast. You will see some rare and colourful birds like woodpeckers, kingfishers, bee-eaters, barbets and bulbuls. You will be amazed to see a huge number of birds within a short period of time. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Bharatpur airport for your flight to Kathmandu. One of our staffs will receive at the Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. In this way, your 2 nights/3 days jungle safari concludes.
