Holiday Overview
Nar-Phu Valley and Thoroung-La Pass trek is one of the off the beaten track treks in the Annapurna region. Two Tibetan style isolated villages: Nar and Phu are major highlights of the trek along with Kang La Pass (5,320m) and Thoroung La Pass (5,416m). Nar-Phu Valley is also known as hidden valley and it is famous of for unique rock formation and rugged landscape. People of Nar-Phu Valley practice Tibetan Buddhism. Prayer flags, chortens, mani walls and prayers wheels are seen throughout the trek.
The trip begins with a scenic drive to Jagat, the trailhead of Nar-Phu Valley trek. The trek includes two highest passes: Kang La Pass and Thoroung La Pass. Eventually, the trip ends with a scenic flight to Pokhara from Jomsom, which offers magnificent views of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Niligir and Mt. Fishtail.
