
Kiran Sapkota is an enthusiastic trekking guide, born and grew up at Trishuli, on the foothill of the Langtang Himal in the Nuwakot district of Nepal. As an adventure lover from his teenage, Kiran Sapkota started doing solo treks in Langtang and Annapurna regions before he became a professional trekking guide. He has completed a Bachelor's degree in science but his curiosity about Nature and desire to explore led him to become a trekking guide after completing the training from NATHM.
Kiran Sapkota has also completed his First Aid training from KEEP and obtained his guide license from the Valley Tourism Office, Bagmati Province Government. As an explorer, Kiran visits new trails to discover alternative routes for isolated trekking destinations in Nepal, which has a large growth potential. He is one of the GHT trek lovers and has done most of its sections. He has several experiences managing camping treks including sacred walks of Sadhguru and led various trekking groups in Everest, Annapurna, Mesokanto Pass, Upper Mustang, and Manasalu regions and also pilgrimage tours to Kailash-Manasarovar in Tibet and Chardham, Amarnath Yatra in India.
